BASF DP 26 1600 m 5250 ft Reel-To-Reel Recording Tape on 26.5 cm 10.5 Inch BASF alu reel

BASF DP26 reel-to-reel recording tape on 26.5 cm original BASF aluminium reel. BASF LH is, according to BASF, the first Low Noise / High Output tape released in the late 60s to the world market, with a claimed +8 dB higher signal to noise ratio. This tape is know for it’s excellent quality, with flat frequency response and excellent stability and tape to head contact. This is the formulation that made BASF’s reputation worldwide as a top reel to reel tape producer. It was also renamed ‘Performance Series’ for the US market.
